Visit of the Pilgrim Virgin

Come September, in every sector of Chicalim, the parishioners gather at one another's home to welcome Our Lady, The Pilgrim Virgin, also known traditionally as Saibinn.
This year, there was a special Mass held at our Church. The Parish Priest, Fr. Bolmax, prayed over all the statues of Our Lady, each of whom, would be visiting different sectors of the parish.
The Pilgrim Virgin on Her way to the Parochial House
The Parochial House played host on 9th September to the first-ever visit of the Pilgrim Virgin. It included a procession from the Church premises to the Parochial House, with the hymns of Our Lady being sung along the route. The parishioners prayed the Rosary, sang Ave Maria.

At the end, boiled grams were distributed to all the participants in a spirit of fellowship.
