Altar servers day was celebrated on the 6th of November at St. Francis Xavier Church, Chicalim.

The day began with a prayer followed by the Eucharistic celebration, where the altar servers participated and performed the liturgy with dedication and order.

During the Holy Mass, Fr. Peter Fernandes congratulated the altar servers and expressed his happiness with the increased number of children coming forward to be the altar servers. He encouraged them to attend the daily mass regularly.

At 11:30 we started with an ice-breaker and games for everyone to relax and have a good time.

We then took a break for lunch and rested for a while. Keeping in mind that it was Altar servers Day we requested our very own Sacristan, Mr. Francis Fernandes, to explain the different types of Holy Oil and Church bells. It was a knowledge gaining session.

After the session, we played a traditional game known as 'Hole', which the altar servers really enjoyed. To conclude the day, we said a prayer thanking The Lord for helping us come together and celebrate this memorable and fun event.
